IPN at SEFF

The Institute of National Remembrance - Commission for the Prosecution of Crimes against the Polish Nation is responsible for research, education, and scientific endeavours in the scope of Poland's most recent history.Educational activities aim to support the historical education of Poles, as well as spreading this knowledge in various forms, including via classes, exhibitions, workshops, historical hikes and urban games, film screenings, and open meetings.

Scientific activities rely on undertaking research projects, initiating sessions, conferences, and seminars, and on supporting particular initiatives and environments, especially those of combatants.All issues undertaken by the educational and research department are available online and in the publishing process, in order to popularise knowledge on recent Polish history as widely as possible.

 

 

Klaus Dörries

Klaus Dörries was born in Düsseldorf, studies at the Berlin University of the Arts (UdK). He works as an independent publisher and director, and also as associate professor at DEKRA Academy in Berlin (faculties of film editing and post-production, and history of film). He also writes for the cultural section of Rias-TV.
