We awarded the film, which according to our opinion, crossed the boundaries of the quality of the films presented in the main competition. Absolute cinema experience in terms of cinematography, script, editing and sound is a short masterpiece built on anticipation and contrast of the sacred and profane. Quelling black horses in order to ride them in the act of absolute reaffirmation of male power and tradition. Alcoholic trip hallowed by the whole society opens peculiar feast under the patronage of wooden sculpture of Christ.

The jury has decided to give The Award of the most moving film to the work with the delicate, yet striking aesthetics. The manifold inner conflict of the mother is portrayed in this beautifully animated work wherein simple and fragile lines exhibit emotion, anger, frustration and love.

The award for the most intriguing film, in the form of professional software, funded by the company AVID Poland.

"When the Dragon Came"
dir. Stefan Pavlovic, 2018, ROU
