  The film shows an old married couple who have lost the closeness they used to have. They both escape into their own weird hobbies and they push away the everyday need of dialogue. They silently endure in their apartment, until something supernatural visits them. Planet Pluto takes up residence in Nina and Gustaw's living room, which forces the couple to talk and confront the new situation. The event is preceded by the woman's prophetic dream. We see how this unexpected problem creates a possibility of mutuality.

  An adult son and his mother are going on a picnic on the beach, where their calmness is stormed by the son’s emergence of his love for another woman. His character is too much influenced by his mother, hence the son tries to establish new rules in their relationship. The mother reacts absurdly.
